introducing your ensemble to 5/4 time. Almost like a “jazz waltz”,
Quintessentials will guide your students with ease through a variety of
alternative rhythmic divisions used in this time signature. The notes
are not difficult, allowing the focus to remain on counting and the
“feel” of this time signature. It uses pizzicato and a variety of bow
